KFC Expands in Arizona with New Sun City Restaurant

Convenient Dining for Local Residents in Maricopa County

July 16, 2026 // Franchising.com // SUN CITY, Ariz. – KFC is officially expanding in the Grand Canyon State with the opening of its newest restaurant in Sun City, Arizona. The restaurant will officially open for business on Wednesday, July 8, at 10 a.m., bringing KFC's signature fried chicken, sandwiches, bowls and family meals to the community.

Located at 10801 W. Grand Avenue near Plaza de Grande, the restaurant is owned and operated by Pak Foods, LLC, a multi-unit, multi-brand operating group with locations across the Southwest. Leadership team members Tanweer and Rehman Ahmed are spearheading operations in Sun City. The opening expands Pak Foods' footprint in Arizona while further strengthening KFC's presence throughout the Greater Phoenix area.

This opening marks Pak Foods’ 84th KFC location, further expanding the brand’s presence in Arizona.
