New Name, New Format, Expanded Content for the New Year!
As you've undoubtedly noticed already, we've redesigned and expanded the look, scope, and content of this newsletter for 2019. The changes begin with a new name: the Franchise Update Sales Report (FUSR) is now the Franchise Leadership & Development Report (FLDR).
Why, you may ask? Because reality, as the kids might say. The biggest change is to expand our focus on franchise recruitment, sales, and development to now include stories on franchise leadership and the C-suite (see the next article). Without clear and focused leadership and direction from the top, a franchise organization cannot grow to its full potential - at least not as quickly as when the development team and CEO are in full alignment, communicating regularly and sharing common goals.
You might recognize the new name's similarity to our annual fall event, the Franchise Leadership & Development Conference, coming up on its 21st year this October in Atlanta. In addition to the boot camps, sessions, and panels on recruitment, training, and sales, the conference features an all-day CEO Summit - which in 2018 included a session on how CEOs can become more involved and in sync with the development team.
In fact, we're aligning all our conferences, magazines, and newsletters across the board to provide more useful, focused, and targeted information to our growing audience of franchise leaders, consumer marketers, and multi-unit franchisees.
Look for these changes, starting right here, right now!
