Baymont Inns & Suites Receives "Best Hotel Value Award"

MILWAUKEE (Monday, April 09, 2001) - Many companies look for ways to reduce expenses without adversely affecting operations, and corporate travel expenses are no exception. Baymont Inns & Suites was recently honored with the "Best Hotel Value Award" from Entrepreneur Magazine (April 2001) - showing that when it comes to business travel, cutting back on costs doesn't have to mean cutting back on quality.
Throughout 2001 Baymont Inns & Suites, a division of The Marcus Corporation, is upgrading many amenities in all of its locations. Two areas receiving upgrades are the in-room business area featuring a large executive-size desk, task lamp with dataport and ergonomic chair, and the complimentary breakfast buffet featuring hot items such as French toast and waffles. Both of these areas received commendations from Entrepreneur Magazine.

Also recognized were the standard in-room amenities such as guest voice mail, coffee maker and coffee, free local calls and no surcharge credit card calls, 25-inch color TV with cable, and iron and ironing board.

Baymont Inns & Suites has 180 locations in 30 states, and by the end of 2001 the chain will have more than 200 properties. The high-quality amenities, combined with an average room rate in the $59-$89 range, mean business travelers don't have to cut back on comfort the next time they need to travel.

Headquartered in Milwaukee, Wis., Baymont Inns & Suites is a mid-priced lodging chain recognized for its high-quality amenities, excellent service and attractive rates. Baymont Inns & Suites operates or franchises more than 180 locations in 30 states nationwide.

Baymont Inns & Suites is a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Marcus Corporation. Headquartered in Milwaukee, Wis., The Marcus Corporation is comprised of four divisions: limited-service lodging, hotels/resorts, movie theatres and restaurants.
