Howard Johnson Launches Spirit America Program

PARSIPPANY, NEW JERSEY (Sunday, October 28, 2001) - Howard Johnson International Inc. introduced the Howard Johnson Spirit America program, which offers special discount room rates as low as $39 per night in the U.S. to encourage consumers to get back on the road.
The Howard Johnson Spirit America rates, which range from $39 to $59 ($59 to $79 Canadian), are available from Oct. 29, 2001 through March 31, 2002, and can be booked at the brand's Internet site, http://www.hojo.com, by calling (800) I-GO-HOJO(R) or through any travel agent. Travelers must specify the Howard Johnson Spirit America rate when booking to qualify for the discount. The rates are subject to availability at participating properties.
