As Director of Retail Research, he advised Fortune 500 corporations on how to take advantage of Internet, customer management, and networking technologies to aid their business strategies. Additionally, his analyses of the telecommunications sector in the late 1990s predicted many of the themes that have since come true, such as the current bandwidth glut and the slow acceptance of wireless data.
Prior to joining Forrester, David spent many years at consulting firm Booz Allen & Hamilton and in marketing at Northwest Airlines, and ran a 10-person strategic research unit for Gemini Consulting. He is a graduate of Cornell University.
