Athens, GA – In 1965, Walter Padgett had a vision. As a small business owner in Athens, Georgia, he witnessed fellow business owners struggling to manage their tax and financial issues. His solution? Padgett will celebrate 40 years of service at the annual company convention, to be held this summer in Hawaii. The convention is an opportunity for the Home Office to provide training, introduce new products and services, set organizational goals, and recognize the achievements of top franchise owners. This year, Padgett will celebrate the company’s decades of success and ruminate upon the technological changes facing the industry. However, no matter how technology and market fluctuations may alter the industry, the company’s focus will remain on solving clients’ financial issues. “The system and services that Padgett was founded on will continue to be the strength behind what we do for small business owners,” said Vice-Chairman Brian Austin.

To mark the 40th anniversary, Padgett Business Services recently introduced a revitalized corporate logo. Two overlapping diamonds now appear with the company’s name, symbolizing the strong relationship between Padgett Business Services and its clients. The overall design more accurately represents the company that is leading the industry in delivering superior services to small business owners. “Our new logo reflects the fact that, while our brand has a long and distinguished history, the attributes that bring it to life for our customers are as fresh and vital as ever, “ added President and COO Roger Harris. “Our professional services are what draw clients to Padgett Business Services, and they are the tools that have taken us to the forefront of the industry.”
