Company signs agreement with Deitsch & Calabro, Inc. to bring new retail meal preparation store to Greensboro residents

July 26, 2006 // Franchising.com // MINNEAPOLIS — Let's Dish! International, Inc. today announced it has signed an agreement with Greensboro-based Deitsch & Calabro, Inc. to franchise a Let's Dish! retail meal preparation store in Greensboro. This agreement is the latest step in the company's national expansion plans since co-founders Ruth Lundquist and Darcy Olson opened their first Let's Dish! location in 2003.

The company plans to open their Let's Dish! store in September, located in Battlefield Center at 2130-K New Garden Road, near the intersection with Battleground Avenue. Deitsch & Calabro, Inc. is owned by small business veterans Darryl Deitsch and Holly Calabro. Deitsch, founder of Greensboro's B.B.'s New & Used CDs/DVDs, holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Duke University. He has experience in every facet of running a small business, including policy development and implementation, personnel/hiring and inventory management. A graduate of the University of North Carolina, Calabro has more than ten years of experience in marketing and human resources; and most recently operated Time Solutions Group, LLC, a personal concierge service.

"Let's Dish! is the breakaway brand in this category, and our ability to attract new, motivated partners such as Deitsch & Calabro, Inc. is a testament to our success," said Ruth Lundquist, co-founder of Let's Dish!. "We've spent two years laying the groundwork and have built a strong, sustainable business model with enormous growth potential. We are excited to share a whole new way to serve craveable meals at home with Greensboro families."

Deitsch and Calabro found that the retail meal preparation concept was a great dinnertime solution for their busy families and began to explore opening a retail meal preparation store of their own. The pair researched several companies but found Let's Dish! to be superior in every category – especially the food. "When we found Let's Dish!, we knew our search was over. The higher quality of the food and the professionalism of the organization were major factors in purchasing our franchise," said Deitsch. "I knew this was something I needed to be part of after my first visit."

Calabro felt the same way about Let's Dish!. "At the end of the day we all want to feed our families good food, but sometimes there just isn't the time or energy to do it, " said Calabro. "At Let's Dish! certified chefs create a monthly menu of great-tasting meals ranging from family-friendly to sophisticated. The ingredients are fresh, and customers have complete control to adapt recipes for their family's preferences. Let's Dish! has taken the chore out of cooking and turned it into a fun, yet productive and efficient experience, with delicious, nutritious results."

About The Let's Dish! Concept

Let's Dish! was one of the first retail meal preparation stores in the country when Ruth Lundquist and Darcy Olson introduced their concept in October 2003. Their goal was to create a great business by offering people a fresh, new way to feed their families real food.

Customers make menu choices, sign up and prepay for sessions at the company's website. When customers arrive at the store, refrigerated workstations for each menu item are stocked with all necessary ingredients, which can be customized to meet each family's specific tastes. Customers rotate from station to station preparing eight to twelve different entrees, each designed to serve six. The meals are then brought home to be frozen or refrigerated and cooked at a later date.

Let's Dish! currently has stores open or in development in 15 states nationwide. For more information visit www.letsdish.com.
