1st Propane and Liberty Tank Reach Agreement

February 08, 2007 // Franchising.com // Liberty Tank and Vessel, of California and Ohio, and 1st Propane Franchising, Inc., of Rancho Murieta, California, announced today the signing of a domestic tank purchase agreement. The agreement provides for 1st Propane franchises to purchase up to 100,000 new domestic sized propane tanks over the next 5 years.

Liberty Tank and Vessel, with corporate offices in Lakehead, California, and Marysville, Ohio, serves the LP-Gas industry with a diversified range of products, including domestic propane tanks, cylinders, bulk storage tanks, valves, fittings, pumps, meters and maintenance supplies and equipment.

1st Propane Franchising operates the only franchise program available for bulk propane marketing. Founded in 1997, 1st Propane has developed proprietary training, marketing and software systems to service its franchises. The company recently completed a round of private equity financing and is undertaking an aggressive national expansion of their franchise program.
