Quiznos Appoints Michael Elliott Executive Vice President of Franchise Owner Assistance

DENVER, CO - 5 March, 2007 - Quiznos, one of the nation's fastest-growing quick service restaurant chains, today announced the appointment of Michael M. Elliott as Executive Vice President, Franchise Owner Assistance, effective immediately. Mr. Elliott will report directly to Greg Brenneman, Quiznos CEO, President and Partner.

"Mike was the first person considered to fill this important position. I have known Mike for a long time and we are very lucky to have him join the Quiznos team," said Mr. Brenneman. "His achievements creating value for franchise owners, particularly those facing key financial and growth decisions, have been well documented. He will strengthen our management team, and will coordinate the collaboration between operations, development and finance, to bring franchise owners a well rounded and complete solution to their issues."

In this role, Mr. Elliott will spearhead the design and direction of Quiznos franchise owner assistance programs while supporting a number of strategic developments for restaurant profitability, including transfers of existing franchise owners to new owners, renegotiating and redesigning lender portfolios for franchise owner lenders, and the design of a multi-unit operator program.

Mr. Elliott joins Quiznos after having formed Peak Franchise Capital, a franchise and restaurant advisory firm, in 2006 with his partner Alex Blanton. The firm works with franchisors and franchisees in a variety of corporate finance areas. Prior to that, Mr. Elliott served in a number of similar roles for restructuring, business development and the franchise owner financing with Burger King Corporation and Yum! Brands, Inc.

"Quiznos is a great brand with lots of growth ahead of it and I am proud to work with Quiznos franchise owners to achieve successful results," said Mr. Elliott. "I also look forward to working with Greg again. He is well recognized for turning around companies by doing what's right for franchise owners and employees."

The creation of the franchise assistance program follows a recent restructuring of Quiznos development program.

Michael Elliott will remain President and CEO of Peak Franchise Capital, though day-to-day operations of the firm will be overseen by fellow associates.
