Bennigan's Opens Restaurant on Panama Canal Causeway

PLANO, Texas – Bennigan's Grill & Tavern continues to expand overseas with a new opening on the causeway at the entry of the world-famous Panama Canal in Panama City, Panama. The restaurant models the original Irish-American concept and atmosphere.

"This is an ideal location for Bennigan's to increase its presence in the community," said Eric Taylor, senior vice president of worldwide franchise operations for Bennigan's. "We've had tremendous success with our first Panama City restaurant and established a great rapport in the area. Opening an additional location on the causeway is a perfect way to expand the Bennigan's brand to one of the busiest traffic points in the entire world."

This is the second restaurant for franchise group Extreme Planet and marks the 52nd Bennigan's international location.
