1-800-got-junk? Targets Texas In Franchise Expansion

(Monday, April 16, 2007) - With more than 23 million residents, Texans continue to lead the country in the high volumes of waste they generate. Statistics such as these have made Texas a hotbed of potential for companies like 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, who identified the state as the main target for their final expansion in the United States.

Thar's gold in them thar hills!
"We continue to see vast potential from entrepreneurs in Texas interested in buying a franchise," explains the company's Chief Operating Officer, Cameron Herold. "At this time we have opened up a number of additional cities for the expansion of our service in the state."

In just eight years, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? has grown its popular junk removal service to more than 300 locations across the United States, generating over $105 Million in revenue in 2006.

"Until we came along, junk removal was a fragmented industry at best," says Herold, adding "What differentiates Texas from many other states is that there is actually little competition from other junk haulers, so it's ripe with opportunities for growth."
