JAMBA JUICE NAMES THIBAULT DE CHATELLUS, SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, INTERNATIONAL

Emeryville, CA - May 14, 2007 - Jamba Juice, the category-defining leader in healthy blended beverages, juices and good-for-you snacks, announces the appointment of Thibault de Chatellus as senior vice president, international, effective May 14th. This newly developed position will report directly to CEO Paul Clayton and oversee the company's international business strategy.

"We believe the time is right for us to pursue an international strategy and begin developing Jamba as a global brand," said Clayton. "This is an exciting time for the company, and we're confident Thibault can lead us onto the international stage."

Mr. de Chatellus brings over 20 years of leadership and international experience to Jamba including business development, merchandising, category management and retail operations. Mr. de Chatellus joins the company after having served as an independent consultant focusing on business development strategies in international markets. Prior to consulting, he held several senior executive positions with Blockbuster, Inc. including senior vice president strategic concepts, senior vice president Latin America, and vice president international. Prior to Blockbuster, he worked with McKinsey & Co. and Chase Manhattan Bank in Paris, France.

Mr. de Chatellus' hiring represents a strategic move for the company to establish partnerships in international markets and extend the brand beyond US borders. The company will leverage Mr. de Chatellus' extensive experience as he will research and develop new ways for Jamba to be enjoyed by a worldwide audience.

Mr. de Chatellus received degrees in marketing and accounting & finance at France's leading business school, Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Paris.
