Play N Trade Announces Two-Day Grand Opening Kicks Off with Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony by the Northern Pima County Chamber of Commerce

TUCSON, Ariz. - Play N Trade Franchise, Inc., one of the fastest-growing franchises worldwide, announces the Grand Opening of the Foothills Mall store, bringing the ultimate video gaming experience to town. Grand Opening festivities begin on Friday June 1 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and Super Smash Bros. tournament, and continue on Saturday June 2, with a costume contest, prize wheel, face painting and more.

"We are open now, and gamers are invited to come in and register for the Super Smash Bros. tournament. If they bring in a used game, the $5 entry fee is waived," said Jerry Abreu, co-store owner. "Our tournaments are a great way for gamers to meet each other, show off their skills and compete to win great prizes. The Super Smash Bros. grand prize winner will receive a DS Lite, and everyone is invited to come in and spin the prize wheel to win T-shirts, Frisbees, stickers and more."

Festivities begin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Northern Pima County Chamber of Commerce, after which refreshments will be served. The Super Smash Bros. tournament starts at 5:00 p.m. and will run until 8:00 p.m. The costume contest is on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., and the grand prize winner will receive a $100 in-store gift card.

"Our store is not the traditional 'cash and carry' retail experience," said Chimae Abreu, co-store owner. "We mix retail with in-store tournaments and contests, disc and console repair services, and provide exceptional customer service to create an atmosphere that is inviting to everyone from the casual gamer to the hard core enthusiast as well as parents looking for advice on games to buy for their kids."

Featuring multiple widescreen flat-panel TVs mounted on the walls and WiFi connectivity, Play N Trade stores are the destination of choice for video gamers. Offering an extensive selection of games and consoles ranging from retro to most current, Play N Trade also offers a "try any game before you buy" policy.
