Roosters Franchise Opens First Store In Austin

June 07, 2007 // Franchising.com // AUSTIN,TX- Real men, relax… you now have another option for premier grooming services besides going to a pricey salon. Roosters Men's Grooming Center is now open for business in Bee Cave.

Owned by Robert and Araceli Godines, the franchise is the first to open in the Austin area. The company itself has 23 locations throughout the U.S. and is poised to open another 27 by the end of 2009.

"We're pleased and prepared to build lasting relationships with our customers in the Austin market," Robert Godines said.

Godines added that Roosters barbers and stylists are specially trained in men's professional haircuts and shaves. And the store is designed to provide all of these services for men in a comfortable, relaxing setting, which features rich cherry-wood and man-sized, overstuffed barber chairs; a large, flat-screen television, and of course a complimentary "cold one."

And if that's not enough, Roosters also carries their own line of grooming products. Roosters is positioned a few notches above most other franchise haircutteries, but still less pricey than a typical "salon."

The store is open for business now and will celebrate a Grand Opening which will begin with a ribboncutting ceremony by the Westlake Chamber of Commerce on Saturday, August 18, and run for a whole week thereafter. Free gifts and prize drawings will mark the event, and as a special promotion, discounts will be offered on all haircuts for the entire month of August.

Rooster's is located at 11905 Bee Caves Rd in Suite 130. The phone number is (512) 263-0102. The website for the company is www.roostersmgc.com.
