June 13, 2007 // Franchising.com // After several months of preparation, the newest Eatza Pizza Buffet opened its doors to the public on Friday, June 1, 2007. The night before, local franchise owner Rick Boone and his wife invited friends and family in to their location at 1746 North Memorial drive in order to sample more than a dozen varieties of pizza, crisp salads, fresh vegetables and pastas. Mr. Boone has hired over 40 employees to ensure that visitors to his Eatza Pizza Buffet are seated quickly and served food that is always hot, fresh and better tasting that other pizza and buffet concepts. "Our sales volumes was way beyond our expectations and goals" said Rick following his first full week of sales. Mark Moeller, the Vice President of Operations for International Franchise Associates, the parent company of Eatza Pizza, said "Rick will do very well, not only in Lancaster but in another nearby city that he'll be expanding to later." The Eatza Pizza of Lancaster, OH is open seven days a week until 10PM CST for lunch and dinner.
