Server dress rehearsals raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters

Stratford, ON, June 15, 2007 - Boston Pizza International Inc. proudly announces the grand opening of its first restaurant and sports bar in Stratford, Ontario at the intersection of Lorne Ave. and Erie St. on June 18, 2007, creating 100 new jobs in the community.

The restaurant is owned and operated by local resident, Don McDougall who is an experienced Stratford business owner.

"We're looking forward to opening the doors of Boston Pizza Stratford to serve the community and its many visitors," says McDougall. "We will offer our guests the same high quality food and service that people have come to expect from Boston Pizza restaurants across the country."

Boston Pizza offers guests two experiences under one roof - a full-service, casual dining room and a separate sports bar complete with LCD TVs and local sports memorabilia. Boston Pizza also has take-out and delivery service available and is open late seven days a week.

Guests can choose from more than 100 delicious menu items including 22 different varieties of gourmet pizzas and pasta, ribs, entrées, salads, sandwiches and desserts. Boston Pizza now offers six Health Check TM menu items. The Health Check TM symbol indicates those menu items that have met specific nutrient criteria based on Canada's Food Guide.

The restaurant will uphold the Boston Pizza tradition of giving back to the community before its doors even open to the public. The staff will pool their tips collected from six dress rehearsals and will donate them to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Stratford & District at the restaurant's grand opening party on Friday, June 15th.

The restaurant will be an active member of the community year-round and will support local sports, schools and charities. Boston Pizza Stratford will also raise funds for Kids Help Phone, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation through the Boston Pizza Foundation, which has raised more than

$6.2 million for various Canadian charities.
