It's A Grind Coffee Houses Graduates 11 New Business

Long Beach, CA – The newest franchise owners of It's A Grind Coffee Houses recently attended Java University and were brewing with excitement as they headed home ready to open their coffee business. According to Brent & Jane Kostiw, "Java University was awesome! We learned that coffee is both art and science and have a new appreciation of both. We look forward to creating exceptional experiences for all as we share our knowledge and coffee with our community."

Java U is a ten day intensive training program, both classroom and hands-on, where new owners learn all aspects of operating their coffee franchise. Opening a coffeehouse, hiring and training the perfect barista, learning the techniques necessary to market and drive their coffee business; all this while creating the perfect latte just begins to touch the surface of what franchisees learn while attending It's A Grind's comprehensive Java U curriculum.

The new franchise business owners are opening the following coffee house locations: Brent & Jane Kostiw, San Luis Obispo, CA; Calvin Nguyen, Milipitas, CA; Ron Dorrestein, Knightdale, NC; Bobby Paslagua, San Diego, CA; Mark Vong, Temecula, CA; Ricki & Rishi Kumar, Houston, TX; Tim Sawdey, Roseville, CA; Bob Moore & Mark Herzberg, Denver, CO; Steve Markowitz and Steve Kirschbrum, Miramar, FL; Paula Neyman, Keller, TEXAS; and Tim Boersma, Grand Rapids, MI.

The new franchisees are looking forward to actively working in their communities and providing exceptional experiences for everyone they meet. "Java U was a great learning experience. We are ready to go!" exclaims Bob Moore of Denver. Their new It's A Grind Coffee House, like the others, will offer high-quality, fresh-roasted specialty coffee, traditional espresso and iced-blended coffee drinks as well as tea and tea-based drinks. Seven varieties of coffee blends ranging from the strong High Octane brew to the mild Costa Rican brew will be on tap daily. A full kid's menu and fresh baked goods will also be available.

It's A Grind Coffee House has an atmosphere designed to make customers feel right at home. Much like a living room, the walls are adorned with artwork featuring jazz and blues artists, while a fireplace and oversized wing-back chairs further enhance the warm ambiance of the coffee house. Free Wi-Fi access and an overflowing bookshelf are also provided.

It's A Grind Coffee House (IAG Coffee Franchise, LLC), offers the fastest-growing franchise opportunity in the coffee house business in the United States. The company was founded in 1994 by Marty Cox and Louise Montgomery, a couple who wanted to serve their community by creating a neighborhood place to enjoy specialty coffee and exceptional service. Since offering the coffee franchise in 2001, the company has grown to 105 locations in 14 states, with over 100 more in development.
