Church's Chicken® Offers Discounted Royalties with New Five Store Agreement
ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Church's Chicken® recently introduced its Count Your Chickens Before They Hatch incentive program. Franchisees who sign a new development agreement before September 15, 2007 will receive discounted royalty rates through 2009 when they commit to develop five stores.

The first new franchisees to express interest in the program, Chris and Tessie Happ, plan to open five Church's restaurants in the Laurel, Miss. area.

"The initial investment is more affordable," Happ said. "We don't have a 'Mom and Pop' mentality – we're planning on multiple franchises."

CHURCH'S CHICKEN(R) NEW FRANCHISEES TO OPEN 20 RESTAURANTS
ATLANTA—June marked a major month of growth for Church's Chicken®. The quick-service franchise organization welcomed seven new franchisees who will open a total of 20 restaurants.

Moid Kahn and Ali Rizvi of Houston, Melton and Phyllis Keller of Junction, Texas, John Nguyen, Donna Ngo and Franklin Ny of Conyers, Ga., Alberto Madrigal of Dallas, and Parul Patel and Jay Westbrook of Perry, Ga. will each open two to three new Church's Chicken restaurants in their respective markets.

Chris and Tessie Happ of Laurel, Miss. plan to open five new Church's Chicken® restaurants.

A RISING STAR FOR CHURCH'S CHICKEN(R)
KANSAS CITY, Mo.—At the age of 40, Shan Ali of SNSA Incorporated is quickly becoming a Church's Chicken champion. He plans to open a new restaurant located near the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kan. in August.

Ali has been a Church's Chicken franchisee since January 2006, when he acquired seven Church's company restaurants in Kansas City, Mo. He opened a new Church's restaurant in December 2006 in Gladstone, Mo. and also acquired four additional restaurants from a former franchisee in Oakland, Calif..

As a young businessman, Ali is intent on growing with the Church's brand by focusing on the Kansas City market.

"Church's helps me make money by having efficient systems set in place," Ali said. "Plus, my feedback is always appreciated – I have the freedom to make market-specific decisions."
