Blockbuster Declares Quarterly Cash Dividend on 7-1/2% Convertible Preferred Securities

DALLAS, July 20 // PRNewswire-FirstCall // -- Blockbuster Inc. (NYSE: BBI)(NYSE: BBI.B) announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $18.75 per share on its shares of 7-1/2% Series A Cumulative Convertible Perpetual Preferred Stock, in accordance with the terms of the Series A Preferred Stock. The dividend will be payable on Aug. 15, 2007, to the holders of record of the Series A Preferred Stock at the close of business on Aug. 1, 2007.
