Culver's Introduces Flavorful Wraps for Guests

Looking for a Tasty Snack on the Lighter Side

Prairie du Sac, Wis. (Aug. 1, 2007) – As high-quality, fresh, convenient food and portable snacks that can be enjoyed on-the-go increase in popularity, Culver's is introducing two new flavorful wraps available beginning August 6.

Culver's new signature sandwiches include a Tuna Salad Wrap and Chicken Salad Wrap. The wrap can be ordered on their own or in a Value Basket with a choice of a side order and drink making them perfect for a late afternoon or late evening snack or as a meal. Available for a recommended price of only $2.99 plus tax for a sandwich and $5.29 plus tax for a Value Basket, Culver's new signature sandwiches offer guests another great value for those seeking quality food made fresh-to-order only after the guest orders.

Wrapped in a 10-inch flour tortilla, Culver's Chicken Salad Wrap is made with tender, hand-pulled light and dark chicken meat, diced celery and mayonnaise served on top of a vineripened tomato with shredded iceberg lettuce. Culver's Tuna Salad Wrap is made with choice tuna, diced celery and mayonnaise served on top of a vine-ripened tomato and a slice of American cheese with shredded iceberg lettuce wrapped in a 10-inch flour tortilla. Guests craving more than a snack can order a Value Basket with fries and a medium drink or choose from classic side options including a side salad, mashed potatoes, onion rings or green beans.

"Our new wraps are just the latest example of Culver's efforts to offer our guests delicious, value-oriented, right-size snack and menu options that can be enjoyed mealtime or anytime," said Chris Contino, vice president of marketing. "We know that our guests often prefer smaller portions they can eat on the run and at Culver's, they'll get all that and more without sacrificing quality or taste." In addition to these new signature sandwiches, Culver's will introduce an Angus Philly Steak Sandwich in late August served on a fresh hoagie bun with Swiss cheese and grilled onions, available in a Value Basket for a recommended price of $5.29 and as a sandwich for $2.99.
