Branded TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® merchandise appearing in popular films, TV shows

August 22, 2007 // Franchising.com // (Lansing, Mich.) – TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®/INTERNATIONAL, Inc. is moving into Hollywood. The international franchised moving company has appeared in several blockbuster movies this summer and more are in the works.

Branded boxes were shown several times in the new Adam Sandler movie "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry." A TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® truck and branded boxes were seen in the Katherine Zeta-Jones film, "No Reservations." Trucks and boxes were seen in the Bravo show "Top Design" and the company was the official movers for the A&E program "Move this house" for two full seasons.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® works with Motion Picture Magic for assistance on product placement. The Burbank, Calif. company pitches possibilities to the marketing department and then they decide if it's something that TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® should be involved in.

"Product placement has been a component of our marketing mix for about the last five years,'' said Matt Mulford, Advertising Coordinator. "People love our logo and we are recognized all the time. Last summer we had boxes in Miami Vice starring Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx and we got many calls about it. It's a great way for us to build public awareness of our brand and company.''

And as TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® grows, more production companies are contacting the headquarters directly rather than using a third party. Consumers will next see TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® branded items in an upcoming Samuel L. Jackson film. That production company, filming in Canada, contacted the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® marketing department directly and then worked with a Toronto-based franchise to get the products needed. With its growing popularity, the company and it's logo has also become a pop culture reference appearing in anything from sports columns to political commentary.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is a full service moving company with 199 locations worldwide.
