Lenny's Sub Shop Adds More Restaurants in San Antonio

Franchisee Jennifer Bennett to Open Three More in Bexar County

Memphis, TN – Lenny's Franchisor, LLC, franchisor of Lenny's Sub Shops, today announced that a fourth franchisee group has joined Lenny's explosive growth in San Antonio. JCBC Enterprises, LLC, led by restaurant veteran Jennifer Bennett, was granted the rights to open three Lenny's Sub Shops in Bexar County. Bennett joins a growing group of franchisees in the market. Kamlesh Patel currently owns Lenny's at 2425 Babcock Road. In addition, franchisee group OrriKaz, led by Operating Partner Erin Orrison, will open at least five area restaurants, with the first opening in October at 7836 Callaghan Road. Bennett plans to open her first Lenny's Sub Shop in the Stone Oak area of San Antonio in first quarter 2008.

Bennett, who was searching for a franchise that fit her needs, first became interested in Lenny's Sub Shop through her husband, a loyal guest at Lenny's on Babcock Road. The Bennetts have lived in San Antonio since 1999 and have made it their home for business, as well as the city of choice to raise their children. The combination of Lenny's proven product and Bennett's restaurant experience made a perfect fit.

"Lenny's Sub Shops suits my desire to have a simple restaurant and a place to call my own," said Bennett. "I am excited to continue my career in the restaurant business with a company that offers great food and service."

Bennett is a graduate of the Art Institute of Houston, where she received a degree in culinary arts. She has been in restaurant management ever since, most recently as a General Manager for Zio's Italian Kitchen in San Antonio, where she worked for seven years.

Len and Sheila Moore opened the original Lenny's Sub Shop, a genuine Philadelphia-style sub shop with fresh baked bread and the finest quality deli meat and cheese, in a Memphis suburb in 1998. Lenny's Franchisor Chief Executive Officer George Alvord and private investors acquired ownership of the company from Len Moore in 2004. Lenny's has sold franchises in 20 states from California to Virginia.

Recently, Lenny's has opened several restaurants in new markets, including Roseville, CA, Albuquerque, NM and Avon, IN. In addition they have sold multi-restaurant packages in several states, including California, Indiana, Ohio, Louisiana and New Mexico. Lenny's is scheduled to open hundreds of restaurants in the next few years.
