Tropical Smoothie Café Ranks in Top Half of Inc. 5000 Fastest-Growing Businesses Report

Popular Smoothie and Gourmet Sandwich Chain Experiences Four-Year Sales Growth of more than 230%

September 18, 2007 // Franchising.com // DESTIN, FL – Inc. magazine ranked Tropical Smoothie Café in the top half of the publication's first-ever Inc. 5,000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States, at number 1,533. Skyrocketing Tropical Smoothie Café to the top half of the list was its 234 percent three-year revenue growth rate. In the survey's food and beverage category, the chain ranked 29th out of 100. Taken as a whole, the companies appearing on the Inc. 5000 list represent a total of $194.5 billon, a major backbone of the U.S. economy.
