September 20, 2007 // Franchising.com // - Newport Beach, CA — zpizza, the Southern California based gourmet pizza chain, recently signed another multi-unit franchise agreement. Erwin Pascua will join 30 multi-unit franchisees that are already developing zpizza's throughout California by bringing two stores to the Redlands, Riverside areas. Mr. Pascua expects to open his first store by early 2008.

"California is the flagship state for zpizza and has the largest collection of stores in the country," says Pascua. "I can't wait to open our stores so that Californians in our area can experience zpizza's creative and fresh menu."

Featured on Good Morning America as a healthy dining option, zpizza takes a unique approach to the crowded pizza segment by appealing to traditional pizza lovers, health conscious consumers and gourmet palates alike. zpizza's menu offers 17 tasty and adventurous pizzas as well as sandwiches, salads, calzones and the opportunity to create your own pizza with a selection of premium ingredients —including whole wheat, organic sauces, low-fat cheeses, veggies and toppings.
