Texas Expansion by Chain Popular in New York and Chicago Includes Two Austin Stores and One in San Antonio by the End of 2007

Oct 01, 2007 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Cosi, Inc.:

WHAT: A franchisee of Cosi, Inc., opens the first Cosi(R)

known throughout the East Coast and Midwest for its crackly-
crust artisan flatbread baked in open-flame hearth ovens that
provide the foundation for an all-day menu of hearth-baked
sandwiches, salads, pizzas and other everyday-gourmet

The arrival of the 133-store national chain in Texas is being
fueled in part by transplanted East Coast and Midwest natives
who have brought a passion for the restaurant with them to
the Lone Star State.
