Victorian residents rewarded for buying NoWet waterless car wash

October 08, 2007 // Franchising.com // For buying and installing water smart products for the home, Victorian residents are eligible to receive a portion of the purchase price back under The Water Smart Gardens and Homes Rebate Scheme.

This was recently extended for four more years from 1 July, 2007, with some exciting new products now included in the rebate scheme. Among those products added to the basket of goods eligible to receive a rebate are waterless car cleaning products such as NoWet.

NoWet is a revolutionary method of car cleaning that requires no water.

The NoWet system works by firstly removing dirt and other contaminants from the surface of cars, motorbikes, boats, trucks and other vehicles without any scratching and leaves a film including Carnauba wax which is buffed to give a long lasting shine and protection from UV rays and pollution.

Consumers are able to receive a $30 rebate when the purchase of one or more products with a combined value of $100 or more is made. Other products include mulch, wetting/moisture agents, trigger nozzles and shower timers. One basket offer rebate is available per eligible customer each year.

Since January 2003 there has been an overwhelming response to take part and help save water. Over 162,000 rebates have been approved helping Victorians save more than 1.4 billion litres of drinking water a year.
