Youths from Stuart and Dunedin Head for Junior World Bass Fishing Finals

BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Coverall Cleaning Concepts announced today that two members of an Okeechobee-based bass fishing club that is sponsored by the company have won a state tournament entitling them to represent Florida in the Junior World Bassmaster Classic in Greeneville, S.C., in February 2008. The winners were 11-year-old Ryan Edwards, who lives in Stuart, and 17-year-old Bryce Breslin, a Dunedin resident.

Both boys are active in Big "O" Teen Anglers Incorporated, a 30-member club that teaches 11- to 18-year-olds the finer points of fishing through monthly meetings and tournaments. The pair captured the top spots in the Florida Bass Federation Nation state junior qualifier tournament in Okeechobee on September 23, competing in a field of 77 junior anglers from five clubs throughout the state. Winners were determined by the total weight of the day's catch.

Edwards won the 11- to 14-year-old age group with a haul of five fish totaling 9.49 pounds. He also caught the biggest fish in his division, weighing in at 3.2 pounds.

Breslin captured the top spot in the 15- to 18-year-old division with five bass that cumulatively tipped the scales at 13.91 pounds. One of them was a 6.62-pounder, netting Breslin the biggest-fish title in his age category as well.
