Premier Inn Opens 500th Hotel

November 11, 2007 // Franchising.com // The Mayor of Bournemouth will help the UK's biggest and fastest growing hotel brand, Premier Inn, celebrate a unique milestone next week (Tuesday 13 November, 2007) when it opens its 500th hotel in the UK – situated in Poole Road.

Cllr Anne Filer, along with other local guests to the new £1 million development, will get the 'purple carpet' treatment and enjoy a carnival atmosphere, including a balloon release and a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Anthony Habgood, Chairman of Premier Inn's parent company, Whitbread PLC and Patrick Dempsey, Managing Director of Premier Inn.

Located within ten minutes of the city centre, Bournemouth Central Premier Inn in Poole Road offers 98 bedrooms, as well as an integral, contemporary restaurant and bar. Rooms start from £65 per room, per night and can be booked at www.premierinn.com

Each room caters for up to two adults and two children (aged 15 and under) and includes an en-suite bathroom with shower and bath; a king size bed with duvet; remote control TV/radio alarm; tea/coffee making facilities, and a spacious desk area with Internet access.

The day promises to be extra special for Bournemouth-born Caroline Taylor, who has recently moved back to her hometown to take up the post of General Manager.
