As a part of a strategic initiative to expand the brand, the website features a comprehensive franchise section with a different twist on traditional franchise approaches. The section features Blue Moon Mexican Café CEO and founder Howard Felixbrod explaining the characteristics franchisees should posses to be successful and the story of how he started in the restaurant business 25 years ago.

In addition, Felixbrod discusses the strong professional support in place from the experienced management team to a complete training program that covers daily operations, inventory control, site selection, restaurant design and business management.
The website also includes sections highlighting community events, menus, catering service and a countdown to Cinco de Mayo, not only one of the biggest celebrations in Mexico, but also in each neighborhood Blue Moon Mexican Café.

The company announced in early May that its growth plans are to expand throughout the Northeast U.S. and has formed Blue Moon Franchises LLC. The company is actively seeking qualified owner/operators and has set a goal to award seven to ten new franchise locations within the next year.
