Lenny's Sub Shop Continues Houston Growth Plan

November 20, 2007 // Franchising.com // CLM Franchise Consultants has announced the sale of the Lenny¹s Sub Shop at 8209 Broadway in Pearland, TX, to Galin Pearland, LLC. Galin Pearland, LLC, is owned by Bijan Zad, a long time Houston resident and Alireza Taghibeik, his brother-in-law. Mr. Zad will be the operating partner for this entity, and is an existing Franchisee in the Lenny's system. Zad owns three other Lenny's Sub Shops throughout the Greater Houston area.

CLM Franchise Consultants, LLC, a Conroe, Texas based company, owned and operated by Lenny Moore (founder of Lenny's Sub Shops) and his partner Tom Clatterbuck, are developing 90 Lenny's in the Houston area. Moore and Clatterbuck are currently the largest Lenny's Sub Shop operating group in the country. They operate in Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Florida, but relocated to Houston in 2005, and purchased the rights to develop Harris, Montgomery, Fort Bend, Brazoria and Galveston counties.

While the original Lenny's Sub Shop opened in a Memphis suburb in 1998, owners Len and Sheila Moore first started selling delicious subs and Philly cheesesteaks years before on the Wildwood, New Jersey boardwalk. Lenny's offers fresh baked bread and the finest quality deli meats and cheeses, sliced fresh to order.
