CHSI Canada's Growth Keeping Pace with Exploding Home-Purchase Market

November 29, 2007 // Franchising.com // - Creative Housing Solutions Canada (CHSI Canada™), a Canadian based franchised chain offering Lease-to-Own home purchase programs and services to help potential home-owners "realize their dream of owning their own home", is rapidly expanding across Canada. With a "Better Business Bureau" seal of approval in hand, CHSI Canada has successfully developed and implemented a variety of flexible home purchase programs that can help just about anyone purchase their next home – even if they are plagued with little or no down-payment, have a poor credit profile or are a recent immigrant with no significant local credit history. What makes CHSI Canada's programs so special is that they are designed for real people, to help make their dream of home-ownership a reality!

New Market Launches by CHSI Franchisees Capitalize on Booming Home-Purchase Market

CHSI Canada currently boasts 3 franchises, representing 5 territories, located in Western Canada. In fact, in the first 3 quarters of 2007, CHSI Canada's network of franchisees grew by over 100%. And more franchisees are expected to come on board. "We expect the dramatic surge of new franchisees to continue in Q4 of 2007 and 2008. Franchisee demand is extremely strong since candidates understand the positive effects of a strong Canadian economy on both the home construction industry and the population growth resulting from increased immigration to Canada," explains Tony Peters, Founder/CEO/President of the franchisor company of CHSI Canada.

Franchisees Jim and Susan Bell who own 3 territories in and around the Edmonton area are not new to the franchise experience. Prior to purchasing the CHSI franchise, Jim Bell was the owner of 4 Subway Restaurant franchises. "Why re-invent the wheel" says Jim "when you can buy a franchise that has done all the work for you already". With a keen interest in real estate and a mortgage brokers license the Bells were well aware of the gap in the market for a financial product that would allow more people to realize their dream of home ownership. Impressed by the honesty, integrity and vast knowledge of the real estate market of CHSI CEO Tony Peters and his team, the Bells began their investigation of the CHSI opportunity. "We were intrigued not only by the concept but the people behind it", said Jim, 'after meeting with them, reviewing their professional materials and feeling the passion for the business of Tony and Jo-Ann, we knew this was going to be a first rate organization". The fact that local community involvement is required of the franchisees just confirmed our desire to be part of this corporately responsible brand. "Although we have only been operating for a month, business is booming and we already foresee recruiting new executives in the next few months!" said Jim. "Being able to assist people with the basic human desire of home ownership is incredibly rewarding" added Susan, "We make people's dreams come true!

Availability of Territories

While CHSI Canada is available for franchise development all across Canada, the markets of CEO Tony Peters' current focus are Alberta, B.C. and Ontario. "CHSI Canada is a well-structured, dynamic and professional organization that provides franchisees with fantastic training, support and marketing materials. Franchisees need liquidity of $200,000 (this includes the franchise fee) to launch their new CHSI Canada franchised business. While franchisees can come from a variety of professional backgrounds, customer-relationship and communication skills, business and marketing savvy, and a passion for making dreams come true are all necessary qualifications. Franchisees are also required to become involved in a local charitable or not for profit organization. "We insist that all our franchisees participate in community charity events and not for profit organizations. This is an essential part of who we are at CSHI Canada and further supports our corporate values. If a candidate is not willing to be engaged in his or her community, he or she would not have a good fit with CHSI Canada," adds Peters.
