December 06, 2007 // Franchising.com // MINNEAPOLIS -- A new 83-room Country Inn & Suites By Carlson has opened its doors for business at 5995 Rice Creek Parkway in Shoreview, Minn.

With the addition of the Shoreview location, there are now 17 Country Inns & Suites locations in the greater Twin Cities Metro area. This Country Inn & Suites property is the first in Minnesota to feature the brand's newest interior design package that was developed with input from guests and franchisees to evolve the brand and ensure it meets the needs of today's travelers. The new design highlights a more transitional and residential style, features a contemporary color palate throughout the hotel, and includes upgraded bedding in the guest rooms. In addition to the upgraded design, the hotel features an indoor pool with waterslide and kiddy pool, a whirlpool and an on-site fitness room with cardio and strength equipment.
