Jeffrey Palmer Named Senior Vice President Of Sales And Marketing For Motel 6 And Studio 6

December 10, 2007 // Franchising.com // CARROLLTON, Texas -- Accor North America, one of the largest hotel chain owner and operators in North America, announces the hiring of Jeffrey Palmer as senior vice president of sales and marketing for Motel 6 and Studio 6. In his new position, Palmer will manage all aspects of marketing, sales reservations and distribution for Accor North America's Motel 6 and Studio 6 brands in North America.

Palmer's duties include the development and execution of all communications campaigns, including development of advertising campaign content, execution of all media buying and directing all online initiatives. In addition, Palmer is responsible for working with the brands' President and COO to provide strategic direction for the brand and actively seeking promotional partners and sponsorship opportunities.

Palmer has over 20 years of experience as a senior level executive in marketing, advertising and sales for Fortune 100 Companies including The Home Depot, Pep Boys and Circuit City. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of marketing for NRT Incorporated, developing and overseeing local marketing, internet marketing and advertising. Palmer earned his bachelor's degree in American Literature from Yale University and his MBA from the University of Chicago.
