New Sirloin Steak Melt Debuts at Jack in the Box(R) Restaurants

The Art of Meat and Cheese

December 11, 2007 // Franchising.com // SAN DIEGO – For centuries artists have used various mediums to create remarkable works of art. Van Gogh used oil paints to create "Starry Night," Michelangelo sculpted "David" from a block of marble, and now Jack in the Box® restaurants has created a masterpiece from premium cuts of meat and cheese -- the Sirloin Steak Melt.

Jack's new hot and hearty Sirloin Steak Melt features slices of marinated sirloin steak and a trio of American, cheddar, and Swiss-style cheese topped with grilled onions and peppercorn mayo on the chain's signature grilled sourdough bread.

"Our new melt has everything our guests crave – sirloin steak, lots of cheese and our grilled sourdough bread," said Teka O'Rourke, director of menu marketing and promotions for Jack in the Box. "It's an incredibly satisfying, indulgent sandwich with very broad appeal."

Jack's new Sirloin Steak Melt is available for the suggested price of $3.99, excluding tax, at all participating Jack in the Box restaurants.
