HomeVestors Names Top 10 Cities for Real Estate Investing in 2007

December 12, 2007 // Franchising.com // DALLAS - HomeVestors® of America, Inc., the company famous for its "We Buy Ugly Houses"® billboards and America's #1 Home Buyer, recently named the top 10 markets for real estate investing in 2007. They are as follows:

1. Houston, Texas
2. Atlanta, Georgia
3. Dallas, Texas
4. St. Louis, Missouri
5. Phoenix, Arizona
6. Fort Worth, Texas
7. San Antonio, Texas
8. Minneapolis, Minnesota
9. Chicago, Illinois
10. Milwaukee, Wisconsin

HomeVestors, which has bought more than 30,000 homes in the U.S. over the last 11 years, based the findings on the number of houses bought in each market by the franchise network for 2007. Top franchisees also were honored at the company's national convention, recently held in Orlando, Fla.
"It was an ugly year for residential real estate, creating record-setting demand for a trusted national home buyer," said John Hayes, president and CEO of HomeVestors. "We generated more than 200,000 opportunities for our franchisees to buy houses in 2007 and we expect even more opportunities next year. Despite changes in the market, real estate investing continues to grow. From small towns to big cities, people continue to look to HomeVestors to help them out of ugly real estate situations."
HomeVestors is the only national franchise that specializes in buying, rehabbing and selling single-family homes across the nation. The company has more than 260 franchises in 35 states.
