Sandella's Flatbread Has Banner Year, Sells Franchising Rights For Over 150 Stores

December 12, 2007 // Franchising.com // West Redding, CT, — Sandella's Flatbread continues to live up to its' tagline as the largest and fastest growing flatbread concept in the world opening 12 stores in 2007 and selling the franchising rights to develop over 150 stores nationwide. The company expects to have over 1,000 units in development by 2012.

In early 2007, Sandella's partnered with Fransmart, an Alexandria, VA based franchise development company to help with their nationwide expansion efforts. Since then, Sandella's has signed multi-unit franchising deals in states across the country including Florida, Illinois, Virginia, Maryland and several master deals in California, Washington, D.C., and Nevada.

Sandella's also focused on higher quality locations in 2007, featuring more seating and enhancing the Sandella's experience. Restaurants average 1,000-1,500 square feet and seat 30 to 40 guests.
