PuroClean Scores 'Hat Trick' – Earns World Class Franchise Designation for Third Straight Year

Growing Franchise System Earns Certification Based on High Levels of Franchisee Satisfaction

December 13, 2007 // Franchising.com // Fort Lauderdale, Fl., – PuroClean, one of the fastest growing franchise systems in America, specializing in business-to-business property damage mitigation and restoration services, announced today that it received certification as a World Class Franchise™ by FranSurvey® based on favorable franchisee ratings. This is the third straight year that the rapidly-growing franchise has earned this prestigious honor.

FranSurvey is an independent third party company that asks franchise owners their opinions and experiences with their franchise concepts. FranSurvey contacts every franchisee within a system in order to gather its data. PuroClean earned extremely high scores in categories such as "Franchisor Relations" and "Quality of Service." According to the FranSurvey results, PuroClean's ratings grew significantly during the period from December 2006 to October 2007, while the franchisee count grew 37.5 percent, from 96 franchisees to 132.

Jeff Johnson, founder and CEO of Franchise Research Institute® said that rapid growth and high franchisee satisfaction is a rare combination because often franchisors that are focusing on expanding their systems lose touch with their existing franchisees' needs. "Seldom do we see such rapid growth within a franchise system, and statistically significant positive score increases in key survey questions," he said.

"We are honored to be certified a World Class Franchise™ for three consecutive years," said Monty Smith, vice president of franchise development for PuroClean. "Perhaps the best validation that a franchisor can get is positive marks from its own franchisees. Over the past year, PuroClean has shown that a system can grow quickly, while still maintaining top notch existing franchisee support. To me, that's a remarkable accomplishment."

The World Class Franchise designation is among a series of accolades that PuroClean can add to its belt. Recently, PuroClean was listed in the Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing, private companies and previously this year, PuroClean earned a top spot in Entrepreneur Magazine's January 2007 Annual Franchise 500Ò, placing in its upper half and #2 in the category of "Restoration Services". Entrepreneur considers numerous objectives, quantifiable measures of a franchise operation in its rankings, including financial strength and stability, growth rate and size of the system. It also considers the number of years in business and length of time franchising, start-up costs, litigation, percentage of terminations and whether the company provides financing. Every company with verifiable data (audited by an independent CPA firm) receives a cumulative score. The company is also ranked in Entrepreneur Magazine's Top 101 Home based Franchises. PuroClean's rank at # 60 on the home based business correlates with their rank on the Franchise 500 list, the world's most comprehensive ranking of franchise companies.
