Currie is an experienced real estate professional; she has over 20 years of sales experience and has also owned a real estate company since 1991. The company, which started out with only a staff of two, has now grown into 13 employees.

Currie is a distinguished member of the real estate community in Woodstock and Fredericton, NB having earned the Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) designation and consistently receives NBREA sales achievement awards. Currie also actively serves on the Fredericton Real Estate Board as well as committees with the NBREA.

Currie's involvement within the community is also impressive, having been a past president and lifetime member of The Ladies Auxiliary of The Royal Canadian Legion. "I believe strongly in giving back to the community where I work and live and am committed to several causes and charities. I am involved in the Relay for Life for the Cancer Society and have served as chairperson of the Woodstock Old Home Week Parade," says Currie.
