Home not only to an expansive array of culinary-inspired sandwiches and salads, but also the company's new corporate training center and test kitchen, the Washington Park Spicy Pickle will offer local diners a healthy and delicious alternative for both lunch and dinner. A full range of catering choices is offered as well.

Because the new South Broadway Spicy Pickle will serve as the main training facility for Spicy Pickle franchisees from across the country, patrons will consistently experience enthusiastic, high-quality customer service. Bringing in future Spicy Pickle operators and their management teams to Denver for training will benefit the local economy as well.

Local Feel, Unique Choices

As is typical with Spicy Pickle restaurants, the new Wash Park location has a uniquely local feel. Each location takes on the character of its neighborhood-a commitment reflected in the singular décor of the new Wash Park location. What's more, the chef-inspired menu features high-quality, imaginative and fresh choices with flavors from around the world.

Spicy Pickle patrons can select from eight different hot pressed panini sandwiches ranging from the Sausalito Bandido-a spicy combo of Sausalito turkey, roasted red peppers, sundried tomatoes, pepperjack cheese and chipotle mayo spread-to the Bastille, a vegetarian mix of portabello mushrooms, roasted red peppers, smoked mozzarella, red onions, tomatoes, alfalfa sprouts and sundried tomato mayo.

And that's just the beginning. The sub sandwich smorgasbord includes mesquite turkey, roast beef, mortadella (an Italian bologna), capocolla (spicy Italian ham), seven other types of meats, plus tuna. Every meat is the highest quality-no preservatives, fillers or MSG-and all menu items are prepared to order to ensure freshness.

Eight cheeses and dozens of spreads and toppings, all made fresh daily, are also on the list, piled on a choice of freshly-baked artisan ciabatta or rosemary focaccia breads baked daily from scratch. As the Spicy Pickle t-shirts say, "Go for it. Our kitchen is your culinary playground."

Thin Crust Delights

Spicy Pickle's menu also features pizzetti (pizz-ET-ee), an 11-inch Neapolitan thin crust pizza available in seven varieties. Try the Athena-a mix of artichoke hearts, tomatoes, feta, mozzarella and basil pesto-or the Sicilian, combining hard salami, roasted red peppers, smoked mozzarella, chili flakes and tomato sauce. Lovers of Southwestern cuisine will love the Aztec, a spicy mix of roasted chicken, red onions, green peppers and mozzarella and chipotle pesto. A build-your-own option, plus traditional cheese and pepperoni, round out the selections.
