Palm Beach Tan Franchise 'heats Up' In 2008 With Multi-unit Deal In Alabama

January 15, 2008 // Franchising.com // Farmers Branch, TX – Palm Beach Tan Inc, with more than 200 Palm Beach Tan and Desert Sun tanning salon locations nationwide, known for its immaculate, spacious rooms and a vast array of tanning and skin care products, announced that it has inked a multi-unit franchise agreement in Alabama that is propelling the franchise system towards astounding growth.

Palm Beach Tan executives announced they will convert 14 existing Premiere and SunTime Tanning independent locations into Palm Beach Tan franchised locations throughout Alabama. In addition to the 14 salon conversion, the group has signed a deal to open two new Palm Beach Tan salons in Florence and Tuscaloosa, Alabama by end of first quarter 2008.

"Now more than ever, the success of our conversion program is spreading throughout the nation," said Diane Lucas, President and COO of Pam Beach Tan. We are excited to bring quality independent salon owners and development groups into the Palm Beach Tan family. The team at Premiere Tan/SunTime Tanning brings with them many years of industry experience and knowledge along with a top-notch management team into our system."

The program offers conversion franchisees access to cutting-edge marketing tools, national advertising campaigns and initiatives, a comprehensive training and support program, and access to Palm Beach Tan's purchasing power of supplies and equipment. One hundred percent of the savings are passed directly on to franchisees to help strengthen their bottom line. The company also offers an attractive royalty structure for conversion franchisees.

The converted Palm Beach Tan salons are located in Alabaster, Auburn, Birmingham, Chelsea, Decatur, Dothan, Hoover, Montgomery, Millbrook, Prattville and Vestavia Hills.

Palm Beach Tan specializes in large, spacious facilities with approximately 3,000 square feet with 20 to 25 tanning beds, two to three times the size of a typical tanning salon. The company offers convenience and a full range of services – three levels of tanning beds, UV Free Mystic Tanning and premium skin care products. Palm Beach Tan offers its customers unlimited tanning without contracts or commitments.
