Palm Beach Tan Franchise 'heats Up' In 2008 With Multi-unit Deal In Alabama

January 15, 2008 // Franchising.com // Farmers Branch, TX – Palm Beach Tan Inc, with more than 200 Palm Beach Tan and Desert Sun tanning salon locations nationwide, known for its immaculate, spacious rooms and a vast array of tanning and skin care products, announced that it has inked a multi-unit franchise agreement in Alabama that is propelling the franchise system towards astounding growth.

Palm Beach Tan executives announced they will convert 14 existing Premiere and SunTime Tanning independent locations into Palm Beach Tan franchised locations throughout Alabama. In addition to the 14 salon conversion, the group has signed a deal to open two new Palm Beach Tan salons in Florence and Tuscaloosa, Alabama by end of first quarter 2008.

The converted Palm Beach Tan salons are located in Alabaster, Auburn, Birmingham, Chelsea, Decatur, Dothan, Hoover, Montgomery, Millbrook, Prattville and Vestavia Hills.

Palm Beach Tan specializes in large, spacious facilities with approximately 3,000 square feet with 20 to 25 tanning beds, two to three times the size of a typical tanning salon.
