Made In Japan Teriyaki Experience announces deal for 32 new locations throughout Maricopa and Pinal Counties

Booming Canadian quick service franchise enters into Master Franchise Arrangement with G Squared Development, LLC

January 30, 2008 // Franchising.com // OAKVILLE, Ontario – International quick serve franchise Made In Japan Teriyaki Experience has entered into a Master Franchise Arrangement with G Squared Development, LLC. The terms call for the development of 32 Teriyaki Experience restaurants throughout Maricopa and Pinal Counties within 7 years. Three of these restaurants will open within the next 15 months.

"Teriyaki Experience is a perfect fit for the Arizona markets because it is a break from the typical fast food concepts and has a refreshingly different menu," said Gary Legumina, principal of G Squared Development, LLC.

The signed deal agreement for Maricopa and Pinal Counties is part of a national expansion strategy calling for 600 new restaurants throughout the United Stated in the next five to seven years. The growing company is also targeting Georgia, Central FL, Northern California, Arizona, Western NY, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, and Missouri for expansion.

"Gary Legumina's clear understanding of the quick-service restaurant business makes him an excellent candidate to develop the Teriyaki Experience brand," said Nick Veloce, President and COO of Made In Japan Teriyaki Experience. "We're set to be the area's dominant player in the quick-service Asian dining segment."

A Totally Unique Offering Since 1986, Teriyaki Experience has been the healthy fast food alternative with a worldfamous teriyaki sauce. Meals are cooked in less than two minutes on a teppanyaki-grill, in water not oil, which maximizes the flavor and nutrition and minimizes the fat and calories.

With a franchise fee of $25,000, the investment to own and operate a Teriyaki Experience restaurant is typically $168,000–$250,000. Through a combination of initial site selection and construction, comprehensive onsite training, and marketing and promotional materials, Teriyaki Experience has an unwavering commitment to help franchisees succeed in their local markets.
