Annual Smile Cookie fundraiser starts January 30th

BUFFALO, NY, Jan. 30 // PRNewswire-FirstCall // - Starting today there are even more smiling faces at Buffalo-area Tim Hortons. While supplies last, customers can purchase a special smiling chocolate chip cookie for $1.00 plus taxes and all the proceeds will be donated to The Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo.

On behalf of all the Buffalo-area Tim Hortons Owners and Staff, I would like to thank all of our customers for their continued support of this program."

Through the generosity of Tim Hortons' customers this annual fundraiser, now in its 4th year, has helped to raise more than $57,000 for Women and Children's Hospital with funds directed towards the purchase of state of the art equipment and construction of the neurosurgery operating suite. The suite serves hundreds of children in the eight counties of Western New York.

"The Women and Children of the Western New York Community have truly benefited from the annual Tim Hortons' annual smile cookie program," says Lisa LaTrovato, senior development associate, Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo Foundation.
