Weichert Financial Services Appoints Larry M. Jackson as Chief Financial Officer

February 07, 2008 // Franchising.com // MORRIS PLAINS, N.J. – Stephen Adamo, president of Weichert Financial Services, has announced that Larry M. Jackson has joined the Weichert Family of Companies as a Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

In this key position, Jackson is charged with overseeing the financial/accounting functions for Weichert Financial Services, Weichert Insurance Agency, Inc., and the affiliated Weichert title entities as well as the overall management of the mortgage loan servicing function for Weichert Financial Services.

Jackson brings to his CFO duties 28 years of experience in mortgage banking, banking, and consulting services. Most recently, he served as a Senior Manager with BearingPoint, a management and technology consulting firm, where he was responsible for a broad range of mortgage banking and financial-services consulting engagements on a national basis.

Over his professional career, Jackson has held several senior management positions with heavy emphasis in accounting, secondary marketing/capital markets, operations, and technology. His background includes experience with Citi Mortgage, Michigan National Bank, and KPMG Peat Marwick. He has actively managed the accounting, secondary marketing, servicing, quality control, information technology, underwriting, and post-closing functions.

Jackson holds a Master of Business Administration from St. Louis University and is a certified public accountant. He is an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association and frequently speaks at industry conferences and seminars. His speeches have covered such topics as "Secondary Marketing Management," "Sell- and Buy-Side Merger and Acquisition Strategies and Trends," "Strategies for Changing Financial Accounting Standards," "Mortgage Servicing and Sub-Servicing," and "Mortgage Industry Trends and the State of the Industry."
