Rick Crossland to deliver ActionCOACH program to Columbus-area small businesses

Columbus, OH, February 10, 2008 --(PR.com)-- For more than twenty years, Rick Crossland created market awareness for some of the largest retailers in America.

Brands were built, logos became recognized, and revenues grew under his able direction. He earned success and recognition, but it wasn't enough. In 2007, Crossland walked away from a long career to follow a dream of building his own business, one through which he could help others in his local community.

Crossland learned about renowned entrepreneur Brad Sugars and the revolutionary business management principles embodied in the ActionCOACH program from an interview in Entrepreneur magazine.

The ActionCOACH Master Licensee for Ohio and Indiana, Craig Hohnberger, recalls the enthusiasm Crossland brought to their first meeting.

"It was obvious that Rick was ready to be in business for himself, and that he would be successful in whatever he chose to do," he said. "I knew we had a great ActionCOACH when Rick shook my hand."

Crossland's new ActionCOACH practice will serve entrepreneurs in the greater Columbus, Ohio area. He believes his extensive corporate marketing experience provides additional value to clients.

"Small business owners are typically smart, ambitious, and have a strong work ethic – any athletic coach would love players like this," he said. "As a business coach, armed with the ActionCOACH playbook, my marketing expertise will help clients get in the game, put points on the board, and climb in the rankings."
ActionCOACH is the world's number one business coaching franchise. Started by entrepreneur and CEO Brad Sugars in 1993, the company is one of the fastest growing franchises in the world, with more than 1,000 offices in 26 countries.
