DOLLAR(R) Named 'Best Car Rental Agency' by Readers of Latin Trade Magazine

TULSA, Okla., Feb. 20 // PRNewswire-FirstCall // -- Dollar Rent A Car, a subsidiary of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. (NYSE: DTG), was named "Best Car Rental Agency" in Latin Trade magazine's "Best of Latin America" Readers Choice Poll.

The results of the survey were revealed in the January/February 2008 issue of Latin Trade based on a two-month online survey conducted from among the magazine's more than 350,000 monthly readers. The 1,203 readers who responded offered comments about airlines, car rental companies, hotels and restaurants in the region.

DOLLAR(R) ranked No. 1 in overall results of the eight car rental companies that made the list, scoring 8.54 on a scale of 1-10. Factors considered in the rankings were rates, reliability, service/courtesy, speed of check-in/check-out and vehicle selection. DOLLAR(R) scored highest in three of the five categories -- rates, service and speed of service.
