Real estate's red carpet rolls out in Parkwood

February 20, 2008 // Franchising.com // Victorian-based Barry Plant Group has commenced its expansion into Queensland with the opening of an office at Parkwood on the Gold Coast.

Barry Plant is Victoria's leading real estate group with 72 offices and annual sales topping the 10,000 properties mark, which is the highest number of sales to offices achieved by any group in Victoria.

Commenting on the move into Queensland, Barry Plant CEO Mike McCarthy said, "We believe the vibrant Gold Coast real estate market is ideal for our brand, which is intensely customer service focused. And we are extremely fortunate to secure well-known local agent Telly Karadimos as our franchisee at Parkwood."

The Barry Plant Group has set the benchmark for real estate marketing and is renowned for its Red Carpet experience which assures clients of the finest attention to detail, the highest level of professionalism and the best quality service."

"Whilst everyone talks about service, Barry Plant actually guarantees it in writing with our Red Carpet Guarantee," Mike McCarthy said. Barry Plant Parkwood will have full access to the group's extensive resources, leading-edge marketing practices and most advanced staff training programs available in the industry today.

"Having the same high level of support that is available to Victorian franchisees will add considerable value to the relationship the new Parkwood office has with its clients."

Although the initial focus will be on ensuring the Parkwood office is successful, the group also has its eye on the future of the brand in Queensland. "We have just completed our 27th consecutive record month for sales and we are looking to build on that success on the Gold Coast," Mike McCarthy said.

"We will be seeking additional successful local agents to join the group and help us spread our Red Carpet service throughout the entire region."
