Licensed Restaurant General Managers Visit Lakewood for Six Day Training Course

LAKEWOOD, Colo., March 6 // PRNewswire-FirstCall // -- As part of its continued emphasis on training that will continue to strengthen hospitality, product quality and speed of service at its restaurants, Einstein Noah Restaurant Group (Nasdaq: BAGL) is hosting a License Training Super Session this week at its Support Center.

The nine general managers, retail managers and assistant managers who will operate new and existing licensed restaurants -- including those in universities, hospitals, military establishments and hotels -- will spend six days in Lakewood, Colo. They will be trained on how to properly prepare every product on the menu and how to effectively deliver great hospitality.

"Training is a vital component to the success of the restaurants operated under the Einstein Bros.(R) Bagels, Noah's(R) Bagels and Manhattan Bagel(R) brands," said Chad Gretzema, vice president of training for Einstein Noah Restaurant Group. "What these general managers learn during this six-day program will give them the tools to provide the guest experience and hospitality that have made our brands popular."

During their training, the general managers will operate the kiosk inside the Support Center and serve meals to corporate employees. The meals are served in a manner that simulates a real restaurant situation, providing the general managers with virtually real-life experience.

The Company will host five more License Training Super Sessions this year, as new licensed restaurants are opening regularly. Einstein Noah Restaurant Group opened 31 licensed locations in 2007 and plans to open at least 35 new licensed locations in 2008.
