(NYSE: RT) announced today that it has entered into a franchise agreement with RTSA Development Interests for the construction and operation of five restaurants in the San Antonio area over the next four years. Rick Riley, Cathy Amato and Charlie Amato are the principal investors in RTSA. Mr. Riley and Ms. Amato are developers and franchisees for other restaurant brands throughout the state of Texas. Mr. Amato is the chairman and co-founder of Southwest Business Corporation (SWBC).

This new franchise agreement between Ruby Tuesday and RTSA has occurred within weeks of another franchise agreement for development of Ruby Tuesdays in the McAllen/Brownsville area, bringing the total to five Ruby Tuesday franchise developers in Texas.
