Early Numbers are in for Voter Free Wing Day

March 07, 2008 // Franchising.com // STUART, Fla. – On Thursday, March 6, 2008, all Hurricane Grill & Wings restaurants in the state of Florida gave a FREE Crispy Wing Appetizer to anyone who visited with a valid Florida voter registration card to demonstrate that Florida citizens count, despite their loss of delegates in the Florida primaries earlier this year.

With all Florida Hurricane Grill & Wings polling sites closed, the results are just now rolling in from the chaotic and overcrowded turnout to its election promotion with seven out of 23 sites reporting.

"Early numbers are in," said Lori Cuonze, Vice President of Marketing & Communications. "Some districts are stronger than others at this early date, but we're analyzing the data as it comes in."

In some restaurants, tempers flared among emotional supporters of Clinton and Obama, while in others, the reaction to the Category 5 Volcanic Lava Glaze was the only outburst. "We're looking forward to showing the nation how passionate Florida voters can be once all the numbers are accurately recorded," added Cuonze.
