Cold Rock mixes it up in Ballarat & Grovely

March 10, 2008 // Franchising.com // The locals of Ballarat and Grovely now have their very own Cold Rock store, and made sure they didn't miss the grand openings recently.

Craig, the store owner of Grovely believes Brisbane still has room for many more stores.

"As we are the 16th store in Brisbane I was assured by the number of people through the doors in the last few days that Brisbane still has room for more Cold Rocks," he said.

"Our staff has done well coping with the large crowds and the public has also responded well to the new Cold Rock fit out design".

"Apart from a few hiccups the opening of the store has gone smoothly and we look forward to becoming apart of the community's preferred treat option".

Ballarat's store owner, Robyn, knows it is important to educate every customer about Cold Rock.

"As we are the first store in Ballarat and the 8th store in Victoria, the awareness of our point of difference is low," said Robyn.

"We therefore have to make sure that the mix in process is explained to the customers".

"The staff have done well in making this experience fun and its great to see the people's face when they are deciding what to have mixed in and when their combination is getting smashed together.

The Ballarat store is located at 4 Sturt Street. The Grovely store is located at Shop 2, 161 Dawson Parade. They are both open seven days.
